I'm ex-British Army (infantry), so they are primarily for grunts.
However, a lot can be applied across all armed services.
01. A sucking chest wound ... is nature's way of telling you to slow down.
02. Recoilless rifles ... aren't.
03. Neutral countries ... aren't.
04. Suppressive fire ... won't.
05. Friendly fire ... isn't.
06. The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire ... is incoming friendly fire.
07. Incoming fire ... has the right of way.
08. When you are forward of your position ... the artillery will always be short.
09. When the enemy is closing ... the artillery will always be long.
10. Try to look unimportant ... the enemy may be low on ammo.
11. Don't look conspicuous ... it draws fire.

13. Never share a foxhole ... with someone braver than you.
14. Teamwork is essential ... it gives the enemy other people to shoot at.
15. No combat ready unit ... ever passed inspection.

17. Fortify your front ... and you'll get your rear shot up.
18. Make it too tough for the enemy to get in ... and you can't get out.
19. If your attack is going really well ... you're in an ambush.
20. The enemy diversion you are ignoring ... is the main attack.
21. If you're short of everything except the enemy ... you're in a combat zone.
22. When in doubt ... empty your magazine.
23. If both sides are convinced they're about to lose ... they're both right.
24. Once you have secured an area ... don't forget to tell the enemy.
