Retiring from War Thunder

Over the last few months, I have grown increasingly dissatisfied with the direction Gaijin has gone and their increasing disregard for the players of their game. In several chats, I have described how much I truly love playing War Thunder, and how much I have enjoyed flying with you all. Sadly, my frustration with the company and what is either their ineptitude or malice has led me to no longer want to be counted among the people playing the game. I have decided to go on an indefinite leave from War Thunder. I may come back if the attitude of the company changes, but I doubt that will happen. It has been a privilege flying with you all, and I do somewhat regret my decision. I am not leaving the clan, though, and am looking into other games this clan plays. Keep safe in the skys, squadmates.

I too am getting discouraged with Gaijin. There are some serious issues that they refuse to address, not he least of which are the MM & BR problems.
They waste time and energy fixing MA when there was nothing wrong with it and now AB GS maps in RB, sheesh. Just the other day I checked my line up's ABR
because it seemed that I was being seriously outclassed. I had one 5.0 and two 4.7's as my top 3 planes. When I moused over my name, the game said that my ABR was 5.7.
Should have been 4.85 rounded up to 5.0. No wonder I was being raped.

I am not leaving yet, but I have cut back a lot on the number of hours played. Mostly because of RL concerns, but it is getting harder and harder to enjoy myself.
Like you too, I really love this game, but will try to stick it out and see what happens.

Well Jeez get me on steam and maybe we can talk more about exactly why you're frustrated with the game, and how we can help. If nothing can be done to reignite your interest or help you blow off some steam then good luck we'll be here when you get back

Glad to hear you will remain in AOD, maybe try the tanks side of WT?
If not, i don't know much about the other games AOD is playing except for JK2 and PlanetSide 2, annnd seeing as how PlanetSide 2 is free and also has Air Forces i think they might be very happy to get a wingman with some skill flying a mosquito or reaver.. etc.. in their air corps.. jus something to look into i guess, but that would be my suggestion, if you have the system specs to take on Planetside 2 :) Totally new experience, and you get to fly still.
