So with the drop of the 1.59 update and gaijin's use of torrents to update their client, I am no longer able to play the game. My university as of the end of the spring semester has put a blanket ban on all torrents, and the admins will make no exceptions. If any of you guys have any suggestions, I'm all ears.

try a VPN just when you're downloading and deactivate while plying should work right ?

I think you can change the way you download files if you click on the Wrench (configuration) button at the top right of the launcher. Click the various buttons to get it to work, and turn off "Seed after download."
yeah you can edit the way the game downloads it doesn't ahve to use p2p to download/upload finished files
The launcher still updated via torrent, even if you don't seed it. To turn the seeding after download off is only to make yourself a leecher. Instead I'm just going to download the steam version and then delete and redownload the game after every patch. It'll be extremely annoying, but it's somethingQuote:
