Out of Town at Air SHow 8/27-8/31

I'll be out of town at the Madras Airshow of the Cascades http://www.cascadeairshow.com/ starting tomorrow AM 8/27 through Monday 8/31 and will not have access to a WT capable computer. If you remember the pictures I posted of the Erickson Air Museum collection, this is the airshow where they pull them all out of the hanger and fly them over two days. Totally stoked.....can't decide what I want to see most, the B-17, B-25, F4U, P38, the mock dogfight between the P51 and BF 109, FW 190.......drooling already

F**c king disaster in the making..... Has been an usually beautiful summer no WI do or raise and hardly a cloud in the sky... Yesterday a freak storm characteristic of a winter wind flow from the south formed and sitting here at the airshow with 25-30mph winds gusts to 45. High potential to ground the whole shy f*ck f"*ck f*ck. At least I got to go inside the B17...... Hope the wind dies down so they allow something to fly

Seriously bummed........All events cancelled, gliders, parachuting, aerobatics, all WWII plane flights...........25 mph sustained winds gusts to 45.....it's been beautiful all f#cking summer and of all days to have a freak storm.... Here's a picture of the reserved seating area on the runway we paid extra for....shit flying all over the place several people taken away in ambulances after being hit by flying chairs, Vendors tents torn to shreds total chaos for awhile.... I do have some other pics of some WWII planes that weren't there before and other cool things after I get over my depression.....

Wasn't angry....that was Nim's joke based on the wind devastation pic, but was I very disappointed because I bought the tickets 3 months ago and have been waiting all summer. No refunds, the planes were there, they just didn't fly :( They can't control the weather, highest winds at the Madras Airport in August since they've kept records starting in 1931......just bad luck

As long as theres no ear-rings in the socks when the blowings done,there's no reason to complain.....
