Is it worth a Curve Monitor?

I've never had a curved monitor, but the internet concensus is that at 27", curve doesn't make much sense. It's 1080p, so you'd have to sit a bit further back, and curve matters if you sit really close to it. I've also also seen a lot of reviews about its 34" brother that criticized the quality control (poor sharpness and colours being off). You can get a more business grade 24" IPS 1920x1200 for the money, but that's just my personal recommendation.

I'd say go for it if contrast and black levels are important to you and you use monitor in a dim room, since it's a VA panel. And buy from a store with a good return policy.
