War Thunder Addiction Warning

Ok....so here's how yesterday went. Got up, did some chores around the house, started playing WT around noon. Played most of the afternoon taking only brief food and bio breaks. Attended the Squad night @5:00PM. The Bomber turret gunner duels were a blast. Wife came home from work @6:30, ate dinner and watched a James Bond movie with her while playing WT with my mic muted. Wife goes to bed@10:30 and Radio Free Oregon is back on the air. Mic unmuted. Hooked up with DaddyWabbit and Yams and others and played and played and played until I suddenly realized IT'S 4:00 AM.

Danger Will Robinson....snuck into bed, but wife stirred and asked me "Having trouble sleeping tonight honey".... quick thinking saved the day (night) ...' "errrrr Yes, terrible insomnia tonight"

The key to never growing old is never growing up.......

Careful WT gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "times flies when your having fun"!

It just struck me that many might not get the "Danger, Will Robinson" reference. It's not my name, but reference to a often spoken phrase by the Robot charged with protecting the young Will Robinson in the mid 1960's US TV show Lost in Space.

Ah damn, and I completely understood it without the reference link...so i guess us 70's kids must have seen a re-run or two.

I had someone call me Will on Vent so I thought Id better clarify. plus You had all the advantages of being old enough to see reruns and being in the US to have access to old US TV shows :smile:

Re: the addiction...,I'm trapped at the coast with my wife and some friends.....no War Thunder for almost 12 hours now.....no access to a computer an WT doesn't run on my iPhone :smile: have to last another 16+ hours before we get home.....starting to get the shakes from withdrawl....must hang on...... :smile:
