It doesn't hurt to at least try.

You have around 2 weeks, try and train some. Get better at the game and see how well you do. If you lose this time, try again next time. Each time you'll do a little bit better and eventually you may be able to walk away and be the champion.

It's a 4v4 RANDOM TEAM EVENT. This means you will probably be paired up with experienced PVP players. So it should be really accessible to all, even if you don't play warframe.
