As most will know, Dave recently came second in some Ace in a day thingy sort of competition.
The adulation has gone to his head and he is now off on a tour talking about his awesomeness.

Haha, yeah! I am getting away until 29th December but then I am in for some over tiering again! What games did you guys have?
And I shot down an AOD-member today who did not spot me, hehe.. (He was in the enemy team yes!)
Toe and I played today's event on both sides. First one decent in a G50, killed 3 hurricanes (may have stolen 2 from Toe). Then after that every time horrible teams diving into fur all and left us 5 or 6 v 2. Ended badly. Other than that it was all normal arcade antics. Flew some 3.7 and ended up with B-17s and other such nonsense. Played a couple of jet matches and actually had fun in HO, yak-15, and p-80. Not too many kills, I think 3 with each, but stayed alive mostly. Even manged to kill an IL-28 which made me happy. Enjoy your vacation and Toe and I will figure out some good anti-faux-celebrity tactics ;).
It is NEVER stealing from Toe, it is more like liberating. He donīt deserve too many so you only do him a favour. Doubt he could have lined up two anyway...

Felt more like Arcade that event.. Tried it once and was not impressed..

Got matched up vs some DMH squadron today, four of them. Was in my P-47 and they satyed above me (Green Ridge, where I shot Toe the first time, in a P-47 - and later bombed him with a Yer-2 as well, epic) until I sneaked off and climbed to 7000m. Picked them like ripe apples. They tried to get me down in P-400s, P-38s etc. but only felt the wrath of 8x .50s. from a P-47 sweeping around at its altitude. Epic. Chatted with them later and they were fun guys. I have had some really great P-47 matches lately, we should try it in pair or three..
