Hello,
My school just got a 3D printer from a grant, so I obviously printed a tank :)
It is very small, but the detail is not bad.
$20 bill for scale.

Can't wait for 3D Printing to become cheap enough. Hopefully should see a golden age of war gaming.
Yea, Warhammer models will be my next step. This wasn't even the max resolution, so I will see what that looks like.
Be careful. Games Workshop will smash your testicles if they think you're stealing their intellectual property.
that is very cool!
Here is a Tiger 2 I did for Flames of War. The other tanks a a stug 3 form flames of war that I painted.

Nice you can't event tell you printed them after they are painted. What paints do you use Reaper? or Vallejo?
The Stug 3 is a Flames of War model, injection molded. I just had it there for scale and a reference. You can't see the tiger well due to it being white, but I will paint it up and post some more pics. I use a mixture of mainly games workshop paints and vallejo. I also use some badger and vallejo model air paints for my airbrushes (So helpful for doing tank stripe camo)
see this right here is why i love engineering.
