The bad - I bricked my gaming machine while I was upgrading it and I have no idea how to install the part I need. I suppose I'll learn when it gets here.
The good - that's my backup machine. When something is important, you have a backup.
GAME ON!

wait... so your gaming machine is your backup?... which leads to the next question... why upgrade the backup and not the main?
I'm all confused about the bricked part... Auto correct?
Cos that's a replacement front USB header, shouldn't affect the PC unless you've damaged it and it's shouting out.
In that cause you want these cables:

Red, is your USB cables, the others you may need. White bottom should be your power connectors, white top should be your front audio. Might need the power. Will probably need the audio.
It's fine, I just can't use it until those cables are replaced (bricked is exaggerating, you're right). I upgrade the backup by basically gutting it and then it becomes primary and what was the primary becomes backup. This way I end up with a better backup and a better primary all at once. The only things I'm keeping from the backup are the DVD drive, power supply, liquid cooler, and case. Oh how I love that gigantic case.
British, what kind of case is that? Gramm, check out my build thread. The case I got is awesome. So much room for upgrades.
