British traditions

So, was over at Toe´s a month ago and checked out that lovelly country, London, Southend, their food (KFC, typical Brit-food I think). Though I did not drink a single beer whilst over there (yeah..!)

BUT! I also wanted to check out the venerable British traditions I have read about in books. One of them beeing:

Funny thing is, Toe says he has never heard about it before. I think it was kinda rude denying me to see this very well known British tradition of dancing.. But I will be back soon-ish to have another look and learn more about the British people!

But the real story is:"Spam is a brand of several canned precooked meat products made by the Hormel Foods Corporation. It was first introduced in 1937 and gained popularity worldwide after its use during World War II. The labeled ingredients in the classic variety of Spam are chopped pork shoulder meat, with ham meat added, salt, water, modified potato starch as a binder, sugar, and sodium nitrite as a preservative. Spam's gelatinous glaze forms from the cooling of meat stock."

Strange as it may seem it is actually considered a delicacy in Hawaii. There are many exotic Hawaiian recipes and it is found on many high class restaurant menus as "Hawaiian Steak". It's even on the menu there at McDonalds and Burger King.
