    Default New Mouse

I've had my g500 for about 6 years now and have never had anything bad to say about it. Unfortunately the base of the cord pops in and out causing my mouse to die for like 5 seconds while in game, so the time has come to move on.

I am rather inclined to Logitech mice (by that I mean I'm getting a Logitech).

Pretty sure I'm settled on the G502, just want to see if people have it and what they think.
Thanks for the input in advance!

G502 is awesome. I don't have one, but one of my buddies does. It felt absolutely great when I tested it out. I don't have one though because I can't justify spending that much on a mouse. Its badass though.

I would've went for a zowie mouse or a rival, I've never tried a Logitech mouse so I am not inclined to say anything about it :D

Do you use palm, claw, or fingertip grip?

I am going to buy the Corsair M65 next week. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B014W1YRY2/...MU0PE40L&psc=1

Been reading lots of reviews and I think this will work well for me. Anyone have this specific mouse? I've been using a $13 chinese mouse for the last 3 years and I think its time to upgrade.

I owned two of these (Corsair M65) and both failed in less than a year, some areas of the cables got peeled off (even though I took good care of them)

The first mouse's scroll button and the scroll itself stopped working and the second mouse stopped responding or the lights died.

Corsair mouses are known for slightly sub par sensor implementation, and the M65 has some build quality issues. If you like corsair, I would recommend the m45. Both of these models are geared towards fps games, so be sure that's what you want.

Of course, the sniper button thing could be nice (I personally see it as a kind of a gimmick), but it all depends on your personal preference and what you want out of a mouse.

Ultimately it comes down to your preferred grip, and your preferred balance of performance vs features

I have the g502 and its great. I've tried out mionix and roccat mice but the g502 is by far my favorite.

I use a claw/Palm hybrid...I went with the g502. Most reviews say the only issue is scroll wheel. I'll see how it is.
Thanks for the answers. I should have it in a couple days and let you know how it is.

Well crap... I had a G500 mentioned in the first post and OP's lasted 6 years while mine lasted 10 months before clicking stopped working. Guess I'll go back to researching mice.

I think they probably mean that the Scroll Wheel is either too loose or too stiff. It has an adjustable Scroll Wheel.

I love my G502. I have fairly large hands, use a palm grip, and the amount of buttons on the mouse fit my need to program what I want. It came with weights to adjust it to your comfort. A great mouse with a lot to offer. I bought mine refurbed a year ago from newegg, still working great.
