A friend of mine has a nice collection of all things WWII weaponry. I thought you guys might like to see an up close and personal look at what ammo we are firing in War Thunder. For reference, I am 6'5'' and have massive hands (played basketball)... these things dwarfed my hands!

Both rounds pictured below were produced in the USA during WWII for the Army Air Corps.

The larger round with the brown tip is a 20 mm armor piercing cannon round.

The smaller round with the red tip is a 50 cal. armor piercing incendiary round.

No wonder we all die when our plane gets smashed with these!
