The simplest explanation for that video I can think of is that his room is less than 70 F, and the software is reporting it as a negative when really it's a positive and it's just cold as hell in the room. Can't wait to see how my rig does in the winter, It's not liking the summer thus far.

The amount of air pressure the fans are producing combined with the ambient temps are cooling the liquid flowing through the radiator below 0 (most likely) because their dissipating the load/heat quicker than its being produced- If we really want a conclusion, ask a anyone with a major in Thermodynamic's.

Nice setup Odepane, Zalman Reserator thats Old school water-cooling, Wheres the external pump/res, I cant see it in the Pic? :p I'm glad you switched to the Cooler Master 690 Finally lol, out off all the Lian-Li cases at the time you chose their weirdest one? I mean its spacious, but aesthetically it always looks "out of place" whenever I see it lol

    - You said DUAL SUPERCLOCKED 770, you meant x2 770's in SLI right/Dual EVGA 770 Superclocked right?
    - Really like the 1200W PSU and the Gigabyte Board, Lots of room for future upgrades was in mind when you built it I'm guessing( Isnt it on everyone's? Why'd I ask myself that..)

The Zalman is sitting next to the machine (out of view in both shots strange enough). It is on it's second pump, and when that goes, I will get rid of it. I got it back when processors ran crazy hot (QX-9770) at stock speeds. Comparatively, the 3770K could run Prime95 at 4.5GHz on air forever.

I built a machine for a friend and decided on the 690 for that build. Fell in love with the case, even though it is rather generic. Great airflow, cable management, and the black interior is just an added bonus. As for my snail case... you will have to pry that from my cold, dead hands!! ;) It is a beast, the layout is horrible, and you have to have extra long or custom cables to makes things work. It is odd, which is probably why I like it!

Single 770, That is just it's name (eVGA does some weird stuff at times). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130945

Back in the day, I bought a new GPU every time Nvidia came out with a new one. I have re-gained some of my sanity, and jumped off the "I must have the fastest machine" bandwagon. I haven't run a benchmark in probably 5 years! Anyhow, the 770 is getting dated, although it runs everything I play at more than adequate speeds. I was intrigued at the 980 ti, but can always come up with an excuse NOT to spend the $700....

The Power supply is amazing. Easily the best I have owned. The mobo... well, you know how that goes as far as future-proof. I would love to get a Haswell, but that means a new mobo... then, it is a guessing game as to whether new memory is needed. Been there, done that (too many times to count). $350 for a new CPU, but then you end up spending $1200 so that you can actually use it. Still better than the old days, when the CPU itself was $1300!!

At the time the sales for AMD CPU and GPU where on sale. I don't have anything against Intel or Nvidia, it was just cheaper to go AMD. Currently I want to upgrade my GPU to a GTX 970, but it isn't necessary. I forgot to mention when i posted my computer build was my display. I'm using a 32 inch TV with a 60htz refresh and a response time averaging around 20. I'm also running Windows 7.
