high ping and packet loss
I got a wifi extender now I'm suffering from high ping and high packet loss that makes almost every game annoying any way to help fix this?

I get enough exercise just pushing my luck
My gut reaction is not likely as a wifi extender will encounter those issues reagrdless of what you do, I assume the base router is a good model etc? Have you considered alternatives to wifi? (not 100% sure they all work though as not tried some of them myself)

You're better off using an internet over powerline adapter. Keep in mind, a wifi extender only extends a wifi signal that it receives. If it's only receiving a 40% strength, it will only repeat a maximum of 40%, even though it will show 100% when you connect to the extender. Understand?
