I had to come to my company's home terminal to get a few things taken care of. While I was out, I decided to get some numbers printed up to put on the front fender of my truck because there have been so many guards who ignore me when I tell them the number, then turn around and ask "Where's your truck number? I can't find it."
Got it all taken care of, but had to wait for the shuttle as my truck was still in the shop, so I decided to talk with the guys for a little while.
I told them about how I was trying to find a place to design a logo to go along with a virtual racing team, but also wanted to print a few out for actual helmet visors. He told me it would be no problem and I could bring all my ideas in and the helmet, and we could see what we could come up with.
All we really did was pick out a font, but I really like the looks, and he even measured, cut, and applied it to one of my visors.
I do have a question though.
As this isn't a printed piece of vinyl, it's actually a black strip with the letters on a second layer on top. I'm a bit obsessive about keeping my visors clean and am worried about snagging one of the letters with my rag.
Anyone know how best to prevent this? Maybe a layer of clear coat?
