If you can't find the enemy, they're behind you.
Black Thursday Event: I won't try that again.
0 for 2, in a big way, with my B29. The first time in, I was one of two bombers. The migs came straight to me and I was the first one dead. (Our side finished losing very shortly afterward) The 2nd try, only 2 fighters and the rest were B29's. I lived a while longer, got some hits, then died, but it was another total loss, as no bombers lived to drop on the target.
It isn't really a surprise. Human B29's are started well back from the main formation (15 second lead might as well be eternal) and the migs burned right past our fighters and blew up bombers left and right.
If you attend a turkey shoot, it's best not to do so as the turkey.

A few roos loose in the top paddock...
The most success I've had flying a B-29 was taking it out as my 3rd or 4th plane. Take out a fighter and blow their bombers to hell first, then clear your own spawn. Crash if you want to, then dust off the big fella. You'll find you actually make it to target 85% of the time. You may only get one load away, but it's far better than none.

Boycott shampoo! Demand the REAL poo!
Doggs, this is not about AB matches, it's about the RB event 'Black Thursday'. So, no multiple spawns. :p

The real black Thursday had something like 30 migs, 100 F-80C's + F-84E's, and 36 B-29's. If they wanted to make it reasonably balanced, they'd give the Americans a 3:1 numbers advantage.
