-Swap out your i5-4690k and MSI Z97 MB for Skylake(LGA1151) Z170 Platform

-For gaming, WiFi should always be a last resort, so If your going to try gaming on Wireless g/n networking card w/ a 2.4GHz frequency maximum theoretical speed of 450Mbps(A byte is 8 BITS, 450Mbs is 450/8 Or 56MBps | So even if you do magically get the max theoretical speed over wifi, your limited to whatever your ISP plan offers, which for me is 50/15, give or take if you have your own modem+router)

Your going to need to shell out more money on a wireless adapter if you plan on doing any gaming over Wireless; At the very least. I have a few i recommend below as well as the Intel Core i5-6600K(Skylake | Socket LGA1151) Processor and 1-2 Solid Z170 MB's

Youll be spending a few extra bucks, not too much more, but it will be noticeable.

    PCIe Wireless Adapters

    1) http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-Archer...INK+Archer+T8E ($68.99 USD)

    2) http://www.directron.com/pceac56.html ($65.99 - $10 Mail in Rebate)

** Both links from PCPartpicker.com and each part's page- Directron is legitimate, despite having a site that looks like no-ones worked on it(design wise) for years

Processor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-561-_-Product ($249.99 USD) Intel Core i5-6600K LGA1151 "Skylake" Processor

    Motherboards

    1) [Combo CPU/MB, you get $5 Off] http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboB...=Combo.2432917 ($399.99)

    2) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130867 ($169.99)

    3) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128841 ($149.99)

Some other stuff could change but Ill post another later, hope this helps!

Agree on WiFi. Avoid if at all possible. Even if you have to run a wire through the entire house/apt/whatever - it's still more preferably. WiFi doesn't work for gaming, unless you spend a lot of money on adapters and boosters. (speaking from experience)

Also, is this your only hard drive? Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD. If you going to use this PC for storing things like music, pics, videos, etc - I would recommend getting one of the faster 1 GB + HDDs (e.g. Western Digital Black). Latest HDDs are still cheaper than SSDs, but in terms of gaming performance - you probably wouldn't notice the difference.

And, this is my personal preference, I tend to go for AMD Processors instead of Intel. For the same money you can get similar or slightly faster processor than i5 (e.g. AMD FX-6300)

    just my 2 amateur cents
