    Default Win10 RAM issue

    Hi guys,

since upgrading to Windows 10 my RAM gets fucked really hard.
Just being on the Desktop without anything open leads up to 15.9 from 16GB RAM Usage (100%). That extensive usage is independent from the time.
I am running the latest drivers aviable for my system (system specs: Intel i7-4770k, MSI z87 G45 Mainboard, 16GB DDR3 Corsair Vengeance @3Ghz).
Due to that issue I cant play any games because they all crash immediately cause of the leak of RAM aviable.

    NEED HELP PLEASE!!!

I haven't been through the diagnostics of W10 much yet, but a search through stack exchange finds this: http://superuser.com/questions/94924...unknown-reason

Hope that helps or someone else is able to provide some insight.

I tried that out. But thats not the case. All the RAM is detected and works and under Usage no matter wheter thats installed or not
It is just that in Windows Task Manager is only like 500mb RAM used by the Apps and Processes, but everything of the RAM gets used and idk by what.

Sorry to hear about your issue. I was looking into it for you and a lot of people are saying it is a driver. But you stated that you updated all of yours. So I found someone say this helped a lot. http://www.ghacks.net/2015/07/29/fix...uch-memorycpu/
Hope this helps in some way.

It is 2x 8GB Sticks each running on 2400Mhz. I deleted the OC which I had on them which was before 3mhz. That had no effect

In the Task Manager nothing shows up. It is between 89-95 % RAM Usage all the time

Here is a Screenshot of my Task Manager: http://imgur.com/BwVMmBH

not even 1 Background Programm takes more than 100MB. So thats actually not the reason

It is most definitely the reason. We just need to figure out why and what. Next step, open taskman again and go to the performance tab, then click on memory. Please provide a screenshot that looks like this:

I want to see what the non-paged memory usage is.

btw, I am going back to win8.1 today, win10 just has too many driver issues right now. Which I'm 96.7563% sure we'll find is your issue.

    PROBLEM SOLVED!

I just found a Thread on a german Technology-Nerdy Subreddit. The Problem can occure when you use more than 1xRAM Stick. Windows might mess up with the system and the Ressources aviable. Somehow it just fucks up with the 2nd Stick and then everything becomes kinda broken.

Solution to this was simple: Just take 1RAM Stick out. Reboot the system with only 1 RAM Stick. Log on once and then turn the PC off, put the 2nd RAM Stick back in again and now it works all fine :D

But THANKS for the help guys. Greatly appreciated it.
    Especially yours OddJob001 :)

That is insane lol. Never would have gotten that answer. If you are curious, the route I was going was looking for a driver that was causing memory leakage. Which is common in Windows10 drivers right now. 3rd party vendors still have some kinks to work out. I was interested to see your non-paged memory usage, because if was in the GB's we could use some other tools to determine what driver was using it all.

Im glad you got a fix. If by chance you can remember, look at that memory performance page and keep an eye on your nonpage mem. If you noticed it going up and up, we can keep digging.

    Cheers!
