Fair point. Who knows? Maybe the full release will change my mind, but for now I am not expecting much from this game. I definitely enjoyed playing it but not enough to get excited about the game entirely.

My PC can't run it but I was able to play briefly on PS4. Coming from someone who has played Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on and off for over 10 years, overall I am not a fan of this Battlefront rendition. I think a lot of the hype is behind the beautiful graphics. Don't get me wrong, it's a cool little shooter and I enjoyed the I time I got to play, however, I think the game could have been something much greater. Perhaps it is only because it is the beta, or that I didn't get to play for very long, or perhaps my many years spoiled by such an amazing Star Wars game, but I would say I am fairly disappointed overall.

This game needs some type of story mode, whether it be like the original Conquest story mode, or something entirely new, but I don't see the reason behind not putting one in the game. They also should have put the Clone Wars Era in, which I'm sure they already have some DLC planned for. I'm a big Star Wars fan but I think Battlefront will get boring rather fast, and that's coming from someone who's been playing the same SW game for 10 years like I said. I'll stick to my out-dated graphics and unmatched gameplay for now.

Imagine an Open World RPG Single player and MMO Star Wars experience with graphics like these? That's what we need. But hey, if FPS are your thing I'm sure this game has plenty of replay value to you. Call of Duty did for me for a while until about the first Black Ops came out, haven't touched it since.

Found a bug:

When you buy 30+ charges for your Personal Shield or Ion Charges, the number of charges resets back to zero. Recommend that you just buy 20 at most.

Found something fun:

Push F1, F2, and F3 in game for fun emotes :)

Found something obscure (active cooldown/reload):

When you overheat your blaster and you see the 2 solid red bars that indicate cooldown, notice how there's small green spots as well. If you hit "R" right as the outside dots align with the green, you'll do a quick cool down.

I got to play this for a couple hours on PS4, a lot longer than my first time playing. I was able to use the Cycler Rifle as well as Darth Vader this time. I definitely enjoyed it much more than my first experience but I still think the full release is going to be lacking in initial content. Great game though, I was pulling off some MLG plays with the jet pack and Cycler rifle combo
