AOD's first entry into iRacing endurance racing back in August resulted in a very positive top 5 finish. Building on that momentum, we took to the track at 9AM EST for the Oct 10, 2015 running of the iRacing Petit LeMans 10 hour endurance race at Road Atlanta. This time, though, we entered two cars and would start the race nose to tail.

Both teams quickly gained positions and moved into the top 10. Early in the race, bad luck would strike the A team car with unavoidable contact from competitors causing too much damage to repair and ultimately spelling the end for that car. Our second car soldiered on and we threw our focus on getting at least one team to the checkered flag.

In the end, we survived to achieve a top 3 podium finish - third place in the ClanAOD.net Team B HPD ARX 01c. I am pleased with the selfless attitudes everyone displayed, putting the team first and keeping their focus steady for the entire distance.

We represented AOD very well, and look forward to the next challenge!
