haha trying to play Asutrias in 760 which i guess is my problem cueas i always try that. Arumba always makes it look so easy, and yet I just get owned Karlings and the Byznantines never come to my aid and the Moors slowly take one duchie from me at a time till i bleed a slow death haha.

ugh and i was doing so good, shiek just declared war on me with 100% like no reason at all. Any thoughts Irtar i hired a shit ton of mercs who were clobbered. A few clicks in the emperor of Byzantium decides to come in on my side but his army can't mobilize fast enough to come to my aid.

Oh I'm sorry, don't have the expansion packs so I have no idea about that specific situation; however, I would say to try your best to always have two or three alliances with big countries in that case. And the Karlings will be a nuisance, but if you use your counsellors correctly, and they are not caught, then you can wreck political havoc on them.
