All the years to come I want you to remember the one man who beat you.
Full Upgrade or just new GPU
Hello there. Well, I am a little inquisitive today because the sky is blue, so... I'm preparing for my new 960 4GB this January but... I'm guessing if that is enoguht or I need a New PC (Literally).
BTW, too many people told me to go and try 970 2GB... But it's more expensive where I live, and well, Amazon it's not an option.
I already have:
MOBO: GA-78LMT-USB3
CPU: FX 6300 3.5Ghz
GPU: GTX 750 OC
RAM: 8GB PNY 1600Mhz
PSU: EVGA 750w 80+ Bronze
Well... for the new PC I was spectating the FX 8350 or going and try Intel (i5-4690k) , obviously the PSU here and the GPU will not be the problem (Just knowing the Power Consumption of each part (Not just Idle mode))
Any suggestions?.

Gaming, honestly got one of the Intel Quad cores. Generally the i5 series.
I say go intel because most games don't support more than 2 cores. Some do 4 and it's the exception to have more than 4 supported. Intel has the better performance per core and thus better performance in games.
If you need to save some money head with 8GB Ram. If you can wait and upgrade your GPU later. The intel CPU will also perform well for longer.
My 2 cents. It also depends on availability. The more recent intel cpus run far cooler than AMD cpus stock, might also be a consideration given your location.
TL;DR: Get intel if you can, but you don't need the top of the range.

Knee High to a Worms Ass
If I was you and was running amd system I just throw a 390 in it pretty much a comparison to the 970. If your gonna go for a new build recommend 970 / i5 4690k combo will run anything out right now flawless on ultra

Boycott shampoo! Demand the REAL poo!
I was running a rig with an FX 6300 for a while, there was no real need for me to upgrade yet. I did upgrade to the 970 and that made a world of difference. I believe you should grab a better GPU when you can, then start saving for an intel CPU and mobo...Should have more than enough by the time the 6300 starts to become too slow
