If you haven't heard of ARK, we have a trial division in AOD. It's a survival game with dinosaurs, tons of development going on as it is still an "alpha state" game. The developers of the game release new content on a regular basis (practically weekly) and are very in touch with the game community.

Currently we are a trial division, awaiting full division status. We play on an Official PVP server, which is public and has a great amount of interaction with other gamers and groups. PVP comes in waves, which gives us time to enjoy content, but when it comes, IT IS AWESOME! We also have a private server which gives us the ability to invite non-AOD friends/allies on our current Official server over to play with us in a controlled environment.
The game itself features a lot of content: 30+ species of dinos with an eventual goal for the developers for 100+ species. New content is released frequently with over 40 content patches being delivered between game release in June and now. Developers follow the reddit for the game closely, listening to community criticism of content and for bug fixes. The current state of the game limits a lot of exploitation and with progressive improvements to their anti-hack and cheat systems it is making the game a lot more stable for all involved.
