I personally have a GTX 980 Ti Hybrid...and it's an absolute beast. I fully expect to get many years of use out of my rig now

I've never really toyed with water cooling, just seems like a bad idea even if the pump company says they'll pay for everything if it breaks.
I've been using Water cooling on multiple systems over the years. My oldest is 8 years old. The only time the system is off is for a once every few months cleaning or during extended (very rare) power outages that bypass my UPS's capabilities.
I've never had a leak using closed loop systems.
DIY Water cooling, on the other hand.....
Well...
:-)
My friend got a new kitten. It was supposed to be locked out of his room while we were checking his build out. We had the side off and the PC on.
We both went outside for smokes.
Anyways...... the kitten got hold of one of the 3/8in tubes..... with its claws.
We came back inside to a very...... ah.... unpleasant odor.
The likes of which I would describe as 35 year old unwashed pubic hairs burning.
....... TL;DR. Kittens can destroy shit.
;-D
Other than that ONE isolated incident, I have never personally had or encountered an issue with water cooling systems.
~Knocks on wood~
(Seriously, I just knocked on my desk!)
Now, I will say this. Unless you're truly investing in it, go with a high end air cooler over a low end water cooler.
The gains are minimal on a lot of current setups.
I went with a Nepton 240M in my system.
I have yet to see temperatures in excess of 76c, that's spike temperature during benchmarking. I've never gotten even CLOSE to this during normal usage, even with approximately 28 game clients open while boxing in EverQuest...... with battlefield running in the background. Lol
I've been gaming since 4pm. It's 2am now.
This is my temperature monitor.
Oh I should say.... Just Cause 3 on max settings.... was what I was playing.

Picked up the X, heres to it arriving safe and sound haha, only 4 weeks or more to find out ^_^
Can't wait for it to get here !
It has arrived! but, should i be using the sole DVI port? that seems strange is HDMI better?
Apparently its going to be only one hdmi and one dvi becuase the other three ports are this display port thing and I do not have that on these monitors "Curses" always something i swear haha.
any one have some display port monitors they would recommend?
It usually comes down to personal preference and what resolution and refresh rate you want. It will also depend on what kind of GPU you are running

Don't base your monitor selection solely on port options, as there are adapters for everything.
What is your budget for a monitor? My personal preference is that you can't go wrong with a 24" 1080P 60hz monitor.
Some people prefer higher res or higher refresh rate, but I don't have the hardware to game on those higher end monitors :)
Yea i'm looking for something i could put together with small bezzle i think its called so that i can do three monitors for real immersion with the display port :). So i could get a display port cord and turn it to hdmi at the monitor end ? keeping my monitors i have you say hmm something to think about
Yea that's eh reason i need new monitors >.< i mean i really don't in that it has one HDMI and one DVI but the fact that this is overshadowed by three diplayports [TITAN X] than this shows me where we're headed.
