Default What would you think made for the worst missions you have been on?

By "mission" I mean one round of combat.

For me, it is one where you are seeming to have very little success in the game, and while you may get hits and even kills, you watch helplessly as your side's tickets drain away, yet while your side seems to be dying around you, and surely you keep dying, there always seems to be enough points to spawn again into hell.

It has seemed to me like such missions tend to string together, as are days when I can do well for a team that returns the favor.

For today, I did figure out that I still had facebook up while trying to play War Thunder. That was killing my framerate, and I think my game's performance in other ways as well. I may also be having a bit of a problem with depression. If I got on anyone's nerves today, I do apologize. I know I allowed the game to get on my nerves in a way that I should not.

It was the time when the last remaining guy (in RB) decided that he will climb up to 10k+ and wait for us there. Doesn't matter which team, doesn't matter which server, there are always a guy like this in tier III+ matches. Drags the match for possibly extra 30 minutes and makes your already 20 minutes match last almost an hour!

Yeah, when that guy is on the enemy team that match is the worst match for me everytime.

I try to stay positive. If my team is not playing the objectives and losing, than I just focus on trying to get as many kills as possible. If I am the last one on my team I climb to altitude for advantage. It can be frustrating at times when trying to unlock a new plane and you get little points because your team is not playing the objectives.

Lack of objective play. This will get you a loss in WT and dead in combat.Trust,I've been there.

War is objective based.Take this piece of land, hold it. Destroy this set of vehicles, planes, tanks. Etc. Hence, the game modes Domination,Air Domination,Ground Strike, etc. Note, the Fire bombing of Tokyo/etc didn't win the war. Draining enemy resources, then showing a overwhelming power, won the war.Not speaking of allies, etc. Merely the "Mechanics' of War.

this is why AOD ALWAYS plays the objective. We like to WIN

I've been practicing full speed landings with enemies shooting at me. The other day I took all 3 airfields in a domination match, 2 of which were taken with people shooting at me. When they finally got me after the 3rd airfield, their team had taken back 2 of the airfields and got #3 back before I could even spawn in. That was pretty frustrating. Wasted a plane for no reason. Could've gotten kills instead.

Don't expect much help from most of the random's in game DonnyMack.

you wasted a plane but got a lot of points for those caps I bet.

I agree trying to win by doing OBJ is kinda pointless without a squad of AOD members.

Often i hate when only myself or an AOD squad are the ones pushing up, even more so when i lead the charge with my German Uber-tank, ze wirblewind. If your AA is running to the front while your in a heavy you should feel bad, don't know how many times I've done that and will still go and get kills will securing the objective. Nothing beats humiliating a t-34 then killing it with AA, and i mean it nicely sometimes a reality check is in order. Sometimes we get a small AOD squad to charge with AA and win the game like that, the story of the bravest little AA.
