    Mystery Random Tabbing-out?

Hey guys, got a problem that I'm hoping somebody else has had and figured out. My computer will sometimes tab out to the desktop in the middle of playing a game, whether it's Movie Battles 2 or Project Zomboid which are the two games I've been playing recently.

It may have been a coincidence but I've only started experiencing these tab-outs after installing TeamSpeak 3. I also am experiencing the same tab-outs in games on my work PC after installing TS3 on there. I'll be uninstalling TS3 on my work PC tomorrow and seeing if it fixes the issue so I can confirm that it is TS3 causing the issue.

I'm running on a 64-bit Windows 7 PC. Yes I have made sure it isn't just me accidentally hitting ALT and TAB together

    Thank you!

It could be that the TS3 window is running "Above" the window for the other game.

Yes, was going to mention the same thing as KaosC57. Check within "Options", then on the left, "Application", and then the "Misc" section in the middle of the screen. Make sure that the checkbox for "Always stay on top" is deselected.

If that was previously selected, let us know if deselecting it helps :)

That was deselected, and then I just deselected the "Never show Poke dialog" option, though I don't think I've ever been poked. Also made TS3's priority set to low. I forgot to mention, when I play Project Zomboid on my home PC and PZ/MB2 on my work PC I don't have TS3 running in the background. I looked online and it was suggested that it might be a taskbar notification that takes focus away and disappears before I can see it. I updated my GPU with GeForce Experience since apparently I was due for one. The only other thing that I can imagine is making notifications is the disgusting "Get Windows 10" thing that is basically impossible to remove. Also it was suggested that it may be malware/spyware and I did a full scan with MalwareBytes and AVG Free and it came up with nothing. I'll report back if any of this helps. :)

Hehe, nothing wrong with taking the "full gambit" approach. Hopefully, something out of that will stick and it won't be an issue anymore. Fingers crossed :)

Windows 10 is perfectly fine. The "Spying" can simply be thrown into a Firewall, never to be seen ever again. Or, you can just not care like I do. It's not like it's the NSA spying on me, it's just Microsoft trying to make the OS better (for the most part).

I found a promising thread that suggested opening the "Event Viewer" from the start button as soon as the focus shifts. When I checked it, there was a "gupdate" service scheduled to automatically search for updates for Google software. I set it to manual, and am hoping that is the issue.

Also I honestly haven't even looked at Windows 10 but I know that when I switch to it there'll be a bunch of shit that will just inexplicably stop working on my PC. Also I hate Windows 8 with a passion, which has tempered my stubbornness about keeping Windows 7 until I get a new PC lol.

Windows 10 is NOTHING like 8 or 8.1 No stupid AF metro interface. It's like a prettier Windows 7.

I'll +1 that. the only issue I've had since upgrading was a minor ram issue and that was just a simple matter of my ram being faulty.
