Even though they are kinda cool, I'm a bit worried about ATGM coming into play.
Maybe its just me, but I don't feel like they fit the gameplay of Warthunder.
What do you guys thing? Will this do more harm or good for the game?

When i started play war thunder 3 years ago i loved this "WW2" game....
But yea... the ATGM's looks cool and all that, but think its nothing for war thunder... gonna change the Ground battles alot.... D:
I see no problem with it every faction is getting them
No no no no no no & hell no!
i guess those ATGMs gonna be top tier & top br?
I'm not sure what to think yet... we'll see :)
I don't have a problem with ATGM's coming into the game.
They have pros and cons just like all other vehicles do. I do not think they will become the one hit KO vehicles some people seem to think they will be.
Pros
Less weight due to lack of turret (generally) and equipment required.
Better power to weight ratio due to the above.
Hard hitting warhead which is (generally) not restricted by the angle of armor it hits.
Cons
Have to remain stationary whilst firing and aiming.
Big plume of smoke giving off the location of the firing vehicle.
Thin armor (Generally).
Reload times will normally be longer than most conventional tanks.
ATGMs BETTER be top tier!
Im gonna be pissed if Russia has a BR 4.3 ATGM...
Now that I said it, its gonna happen...
So I have taken them out during the testserver (only the britsh premium)
The penetration is phenomenal (<600 mm) so you can penetrate anything.
The aiming is very acurat as long as you don't shake your mouse too much, during big direction changes they tend to do a big curve.
All this is AB realated.
So I think they won't be as op as everybody thinks.

I've seen some footage yesterday from a youtuber from a gaijijn stream but I can't remeber/find it anymore
But I've found another video from PhlyDaily while he is testing them on the devserver => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJY6CILNKZo
So judging by this video some of my earlier asumptions were wrong, yet I keep hope Gaijin will balance these vehicles
At the moment they aren't very acurate and also don't oneshot as much as I thought, so for me it's looking good as is
Btw Schtreusel how did you get to a testserver? I'd love to spent some time there :)
The dev server was only temp its not up anymore we were both on it and like he said missiles are hard as hell to control and it seems you have to hit a flat surface for the most effective damage
FIIIIIIIIIINALLY they add a Swedish tank (well a british tank for the Swedish market.) and it's a god damn premium...
Not only that it doesn't even have the Swedish camo -_-
