Default Stirlings are not so bad...

Sure, battle rating 5 and slower than some biplanes when loaded, but they carry quite a nice load of bombs, and do fairly well at bombing, when they live long enough to drop. I am having a far easier time modding my Stirling than I had with any earlier British bomber.

Your Stirling must be very different from mine its wings falls apart at just the sight of an enemy fighter Wellington is fun if played right had a lot of success with it BR should be 3.2-3.8 for Stirling as its a paper mache bomber.

If you get a good escort fighter as you say is a lot of fun good payload but the problem is that happens really most games end the same way death after getting a few bombs off not riveting game play I always make profit just not very fun doing it this way.

You're right about it being the wrong plane to fly for a riveting game. The way I fly it, I'm trying to sneak to get to the targets when the fighters aren't there. (and with this rig's airspeed, that is not an easy thing to do!) At BR 5.0 and 5.3, once the enemy sees you, you will soon die.

This is the kind of plane a crafty fishing enthusiast might like to fly.
