    Default Bathurst 1000 - October 15, 2016 | 13:00 GMT ( practices posted )

I need to know who's up for this, and also when's the best time for practice sessions together.
If you are 100% sure to run this race, please answer this doodle asap for practice availability: http://doodle.com/poll/puh6dqufcicw5psf
I will host practice sessions accordingly. It's gonna be a 6-7hours race, so we need 3-4 drivers max.

I'm applying for team captain on this one, i believe you have to vote for it.

I already have a pretty good setup, my lap times are currently in the 2:08s full fuel default weather (41C track), 2:06s on cold track full fuel.

    Disclaimer
This is gonna be a pretty hard race. If you fail to prove that you are able to run the 25 laps of a stint whithout any incidents in the weeks to come, you are not running with me. I don't care about your lap times, as long as you keep it away from walls. It's more about surviving than any other race.

    Practice schedule:

    Tuesday 27, 2 hours, 6PM GMT
    Thursday 29, 2 hours, 6PM GMT
    Sunday 2, 4 hours, 6PM GMT

Signed up. I wouldn't mind running a later start time if there is a suitable one for those of us who live in America. 6 pm gmt only works on weekends for me.

Here's a little video with a few laps doing 2:07s plus some explanations, hopefully it'll help you guys to shave some seconds off your pace.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfHHW4Cg0lk

    T1: Hell Corner
Break at the 100s marker, turn in in second gear at the start of the yellow paint on the right wall, apply gas carefully on corner exit as you reach Mountain Straight.
If you miss this corner, your lap time goes to shit and/or you're gonna be passed.

    T2: Griffins Bend
Start breaking right after the left wall turns gray, between the 100 and 150 markers. Downshit to 3rd, stay as close as the right curb as you can. Go back on the throttle halfway into the turn using all the road available on corner exit.

    T8 & 9: Frog Hollow (See video at 3:00)
This is probably the most dangerous turn of the track and my personal nemesis. There's no way to avoid dying if you miss the corner entry, so make sure you don't go too fast. Go very deep into turn 8, aim for the one before last "ETIHAD" writting, and turn in right before hitting the wall. This way you have a good attack angle and are less likely to hit the white wall on T9.

    T10
Give it a little bit of break on top of the hill, and turn in soon to be as close to the left wall as possible. If you miss your entry and go too fast you can still avoid the sandpit by carefully breaking and aiming for the right curb.

    T11: Skyline
Highest point on the track. Make sure you don't go too fast entering the downhill, you won't loose time being safe, and it's not very likely that someone will have the balls to try and overtake here.

    T18: Forest Elbow
Break early before T17, turn in second gear very close to the wall, go back carefully on the gas about 70% into the corner. It's very important not to miss this one, and yet it is imo the hardest on the track. Make it right.

    T20 - 21 - 22: The Chase Right after the Conrod Straight
Break after the 200 marker. On cold tires, break AT the 200 marker. Easy on the break in order not to lock up, downshift to 2nd then short shift to 3rd to avoid wheelspin on corner exit.

    T23: Murrays Corner
Break between the 150 and 100 markers, don't hit the left curb or you loose tons of time, and also you will die.

I'll start practicing the 25 lap stints soon, i feel really comfortable in the car so far. chopped my time from 2:15s to 2:10s, I know I can find plenty more time still as i get used to the car-track more.

Missed today's practice but I'm doing laps in my own time to continue getting better on long runs. I'll be there for the meeting.

This is already looking damn good, nice work!
I hate to be that guy, but there's just one thing bugging me: The AOD triangular logo. I think it looks crappy, especially on a race car, sorry to say. I found what you did on the audi to be much nicer, "AOD RACING" in big letters http://i.imgur.com/6ydPH79.jpg looks better and more professional imho.
