    There is no such thing as "Cheap" 27" 144hz monitor.
    But this BenQ monitor is one of the best http://gaming.benq.com/gaming-monitor/xl2730z
    It has very low input lag and is used on many eSports tournaments.

    Just sold my pg278q used for 400, that's around the going price on ebay. It sells 670 new, a little more for the newer model. 27" 1440p x 144hz. There are always nice options on ebay, just have to make sure you read descriptions and look closely at pictures.

    I'm using the ASUS ROG PG278Q and have had some issues in windows with 144. I gotta sometimes set it to 120, dunno if this is a glitch or some other program being dumb. Usually fixes itself after a reboot. However gaming, no problems.
