    Default Battlefront FPS Problems

Hey. I've been looking up my specs on Youtube, and I've noticed my graphics card and the rest of my hardware is supposed to run Battlefront with ease on Ulta at 60FPS, yet when I actually run it, I get about 15-30 FPS. I've tested this from Ultra settings to low, getting the exact same results. I want to know if I'm doing something wrong.

    Specs:

    Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 760

    Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM) 2 Duo CPU E7500 @2.93GHz 2.93 GHz

    RAM: 8.00 GB

System Type: 64-bit OS, x64-based processor

Which Battlefront are you talking about? The new one or 2005?

Judging by this with what you've given us, I'd say your CPU is holding you back on even the minimum settings. http://www.game-debate.com/hardware/...7500%202.93GHz

Ah, I see. What CPU would you advise me to upgrade to, and if any, what else should I try to improve?

Also, if you want to run it on Ultra 60 fps then you need GTX 960 at minimum.

Not true. I've seen videos of people running the game at 60 Ulta using the same graphics card as me, and it runs just fine.

I've a 760 as well but it's not supposed to run AAA games from 2015 at 1080p 60fps in Ultra settings.... But clearly your system is CPU limited. I would suggest upgrading to an i5 6400 or 6500. But first you need to check if your mother board supports the Socket 1151.

Here is how it runs with GTX 760 + i7 3770 at 1080p with some settings on Ultra and some on Medium. So, clearly it's not Ultra anymore and you can see that it dips down to 40 fps very often.

Here is a video that I personally recorded when I had GTX 960 and i5 6600k overclocked to 4.2 Ghz
You can see that not all settings are Ultra. Some had to be turned down to High in order to achieve stable 60 fps (although it dips down to 56 from time to time).

So, no, GTX 760 can't run Ultra MAX at 1080p this game and achieve 60 fps. Even 960 struggles to do that.

You might be able to run it at 720p but definitely not at 1080p
