and it was fun! I must say if a pre beta was that enjoyable, good framerates, interesting gunnery and damage, no majorly noticeable bugs, I cannot wait to see what is in the future.

I'm going to be part of the closed beta. Glad to hear it's going to be good..
Pls keep the people without beta-acces like me up to date sometimes
Have fun and good luck
Good to hear. Gaijin so far has out done WG every step of the way, I can not wait to see what their future holds, and get my chance to play their ships when open beta comes around.
quick one of the american PTBoat
Yeah the PT boats lay down allot of fire, but as far as the Russians being rubbish he is mistaken, they seem to be pretty useful at range with the dual T-34 turrets, and a smaller target.
only issue atm is the playing times i only managed to get in one session....was fun tho..
can't wait for the boats
Any one remember when They added the wooden ship event? I have to say that was very fun, if they modelled the new ships game play after the wooden sip event, then Gaijin finally did a good job for once (or maybe twice).
yes so? its was also a good test for them
And a lot of fun it was to
Thunder got to drive some boats around too. He mostly died though.

Not a huge fan of Naval Warfare, but its good to see WT expanding in all branches.
I have tried the boats out. In my humble opinion, the maps are too cramped. There isn't enough open water. I can't even tell you that I've ever seen any watery area that looks like any of the maps. I know they've done a lot of making the airplanes bigger and the distances shorter in order to move the game along and remove the hours of flight time that folks on either side of any given war may have had to fly, but the channels are so small that a PT boat cannot turn around without switching back and forth between forward & reverse motion. Even the inland waterways along the US coast has room enough most everywhere to turn around.
I thought I needed a driver and a gunner and a lookout. If you're in cramped space, and aren't looking where you're going, it's hard to pick up any speed without ramming a rock. If you're not looking where you're shooting, it's not likely you'll hit much of anything, and if you're not looking out in general, there's a good chance someone will see you first...
