If the rumors are true, Verdun will be a playable map which means that we should get a massive trench system. This could be very fun for Operations if done correctly. That or steal Verdun's battle gamemode and use it in battlefield.

It's been done. Bad Company 2 Vietnam Expansion. Still a better expansion than any of the BF3 or BF4 expansions ... IMO. What really burns me is that two of the major players in WW1 were held back to a DLC. EA manipulation.
