Some thoughts on my gaming experience of late...

-Tanks are getting too dang popular if you're in the minority who still enjoys realistic air battles.
-If you're an average player (such as myself), you have your best games when you have squad mates.
-The balance between American planes and everyone else seems to have gotten much closer. Might just be perception.
-No matter the BR, pilot skill trumps better planes a very scientifically derived 7 out of 10 times. (Actually, just a wild @ss guess).
-The screen name 'Almost_Lethal' is much easier to talk about around my Baptist, bible thumpin',God fearin' dinner table than 'Cooter(fill in the blank)'. I appreciate a team mate that has enough respect for his fellow team mates to leave any reference to copulation out of his screen name. Says a lot for his character.
-In order to be fully effective in battle, one must place his desire for kill numbers, silver lion gains, and high scores second to the good of the team.
-When all squad mates pick a leader and work together, the chances of a favorable outcome increase dramatically.
-If a butt whoopin' is delivered to the entire team equally, it is somehow not as bad as a swift kick to the groin by yourself. Figuratively speaking of course. Well, maybe literally too.

Yeh, we do need some more people up in air realistic. I usually find only 1 person in there when I log on.

Playing the objective almost always equals a swift victory, assuming the other team didn't start doing the same thing from the offset of the game. Its much harder to play the objective when you're essentially carrying your whole team which happens alot in solo play i've noticed. I think the buff to M2 .50cal rounds probably made american planes a bit more usable again but they still seem underwhelming to myself personally.

We need more players to do squads. I do not know how AOD has so many players and it's so hard to find someone to squad up.

Remember,War is a TEAM oriented project. Very rarely is a War won by the actions of 1 person. Battles?Sure.Wars,not so much.

the USA .50c buff was sorely needed. They'd nerfed em some time back,and even ground unit ammo didnt perform correctly.Nice to see holes in planes/things falling off when I hit em w/8 .50c guns again.

Many people don't like flying realistic due to the time it takes,and the tactics that often extend that time.Running/Hiding rather than fighting?Seriously?That's a thing I hear/read in RB/SB both. Speaks to a level of cowardice,not willingness to win. I've even seen AOD members espouse it as a tactic.I dont agree with it at all.Ya fight the fight,and if ya lose,so be it.

It might take some time,but find realistic players both in AOD/not in AOD.add them to friends list,then start making custom games/realistic and inviting those people. Word will get around,and You'll soon find Yourself w/many players willing to fly/fight! Perhaps add a Twitch Streaming account and then start advertising Your streams on Twitter/Instagram/Social media. I see twitch streams on twitter often,and many w/ad's for more pilots/tankers.
