Was just wonder if there is or was an arma 3 group in AOD

As far as I can see I don't think so. I would totally full time that and part time battlefront.

It's fun, but I'm not sure how much support there is for clans. It seems like most of the clans in game are well established outside of the game/steam.

Yeah, I suppose. Just looking for some peeps to play coop. Nothing too big. Just garrys boring with just bots as team mates

We had it as a Trial Division a few years back alongside Dayz. Wasn't really much take up. Only about 8-10 regular players. It was a shame as it was very good. We played Altis life and Koth.

Another problem was also server ping/lag. We had players in the EU and US, ARMA servers do not support cross continent players very well....

From my memory, we started with the ARMA division, but a large branch was focused solely on DayZ (it was still just a mod on ARMA at the time). When DayZ went off on its own, so did a large chunk of the ARMA division. It didn't survive that and was shuttered shortly thereafter.

Then as interest in DayZ waned, it eventually also shuttered.

Sadly, damage done to ARMA division without enough interest to go back.

Back when I rolled with a different clan, one of our favorite servers to play on was the AOD Wasteland server. Actually the only reason I ended up joining this clan.

I play on ARMA wasteland servers quite often and wouldn't mind setting up a time to play soon.

I doubt we could get an ARMA division going again but it would be nice to coordinate with clan members.
