Hail my fellow AOD members:
I am announcing that starting this week EvE Division is sponsoring an AOD wide Treasure Hunt for all AOD Cpl’s and below.
This “Treasure Hunt” will be in the form of puzzles and riddles. You will be required to use most of AOD’s forum tools and to talk too many of the longtime AOD members and leadership
. Do not be intimidated to talk to anyone, we are all approachable, excited and truly looking forward to talking to all you
. You will need to ask certain questions to get the correct answers so read the clues carefully.
The Grand Prize will be a $100.00 gift card to either Newegg, Best Buy, or PrePaid Visa (Winner picks)
Runner-up prize will be a “Gaming” video card (8000 series GT or better, reconditioned or used)
The following are the general rules (any additional things you need to know will be posted with the puzzle):
-There will be 4 puzzles for everyone to play each week and one for the final round (total of 5).
- These puzzles could be in the form of crossword puzzles, word searches, or word decryptions.
- Puzzles will be posted in this thread each week as listed below (posted anytime that week).
Puzzle 1 – Week of Jan 25
Puzzle 2 – Week of Feb 08 (This puzzle is the only one that is required to be done by all players. You will be required to be on vent, you’ll have to talk to people
)
Puzzle 3 – Week of Feb 15
Puzzle 4 – Week of Feb 22 (All puzzle answers must be submitted NLT 12:00 Pm EST on Sat, Feb 20)
Final Puzzle – Monday Mar 1
ANYONE CAN START AT ANYTIME AS LONG AS YOU COMPLETE THEM BY THE DATE AND TIME BELOW
You can submit your answers at any time during the “Hunt” but all need to be in NLT 12:00 Pm EST Sat, Feb 20.
Ensure to check this thread daily. I may post a bonus puzzle with a prize or reward for the first to answer correctly, PM’ed to AOD_Sgt_Meanman, and it will count towards the required completed puzzles for the finals.
- Answers will be submitted to AOD_Sgt_Meanman via PM on the forums, he will not say if your puzzle is right or wrong.
Do not ask Meanman for any help, you can however ask any Sgt or above for direction/help on how to do things, but they will not give you the answer. Clues may be provided. You must do these puzzles by yourself - no team effort or trading answers, integrity is a must (if ya cheat you’re out of the competition).
-You will not know if you get the weekly puzzles correct until I announce the finalist.
- Members who get 3 of 4 or 4 of 4 puzzles correct will be eligible for the final round. I will post the names of the finalist on Sunday Feb 21st.

For Cpl's and below only.
- The 5th puzzle will be sent in a PM to the finalist with any additional information needed to complete it.
- The first finalist to PM AOD_Sgt_Meanman wins!
- The winner of the final puzzle, first runner-up, and the other finalist will be announced as soon as the first correct answer is received.
NOTES:
-In the event that 3 people do not get the answers to 3 of the 4 (4 of 4) puzzles correct, the final puzzle will be sent out to all that answered 2 puzzle correctly.
-Remember that EVERYONE has to do puzzle 2……If you do not complete it you are disqualified.
-Please keep in mind that us old guys made these puzzles up and have rechecked them several times we may have missed something because of our lame eyesight or arthritis
…so don’t get all worked up, just send me or Meanman a PM and we will work it out.
