    Default Saitek X52

I'm wondering if anyone has the Saitek X52 or something similar AND would be willing to send me their settings. This thing is a lot smarter than I am and I'm having a hell of a time trying to get it working properly. I've done a number of test flights and all them have resulted in a crash. I'm about ready to toss this thing out the window.

The most important setting is the "Non-linearity." Most people set it at 1.7 or 2.0 . What it does is change the input / output curve from linear to quadratic.

Basically, instead of a 10% movement on the joystick translating into a 10% movement of the ailerons, a 10% movement would equal 2-4%. 100% would still equal 100%. So what it does is allow fine control of the plane.

After that, it's just practice. Keep at it, the rewards are worth the frustrations.
