    Bored Straw and a camel's back .....

Chances are that I may be quitting WT in the very near future.

Seem to have lost interest in all aspects of the game.

Log in each night and usually just log straight out again.

Can't think of anything to post on the forums.

If I do fly, it's on Tier 1. Only level that seems to be devoid of the high levels of twattery on the other tiers. All well and good, but I put serious cash into this game ..... only to be unable to use most of my planes because of the BS that is prevalent now.

Seem to fly solo most times now because everyone is off playing tonks.

Have absolutely zero interest in that.

Basically ..... all the fun has gone.

I'll think about things over the weekend and see how I feel.

At best, I will probably put in for a LOA, and see how I feel after a break.

We'd love to keep you around, so please think about a LOA. Or maybe even switching to another division?

Arma 3, Battlefield 4, Firefall, JediKnight, Planetside 2, or World of Tanks. Right now Ghost Recon Phantoms is in Trial Division status. And Star Citizen may go into trial status soon, as well.

Everyone gets burned out occasionally. A break is what the doctor ordered.

Like Dannes says, taking a break might be the best cure for this. For me it means that I don't play WT every day, I sometimes skip a day here & there... Seems to help for me

joy has gone for Me as well Toe. I hv to take a break as well.Tonks aren't fun, personally. In the flight section,it seems to be too many wallet warriors or nublets ramming, thats it. Rare to get a "Good" match sadly. Many of our WT/Flight players are 'bleeding' to either other divisions,or just leaving period.

The big benefit to a multi-game clan like this is if you're bored, you can float around and try out everything else that's up for offer.

Heck, even get in on the Misc game action. I've spent the last week or two playing Heroes and Generals. :P

I understand completely. Try to keep in mind
    1) We're all kids that never grew up and hopefully never will. Tanks are the shinny new toys and all the kids are going ooooo ahhhhhh. After awhile things will balance back out
    2) There is twattery in all online games, being in a good clan is the best way to minimize the impact. AOD is a great clan.
    3) You're not alone. Everyone gets tired/bored/disgusted at some point with their favorite game. Otherwise we'd all still be playing the first game we ever played.
    4) A multigame clan provides other gaming outlets to mix things up. When they broke WT a couple weeks ago with the video card thing, I applied for part time and had a lot of fun derping around Planetside 2 (mostly getting killed)
    5) Taking a break keeps things fresh and your interest up. I've raced in the same simracing league for 6 years now with mostly the same group of drivers. We maintain the level of interest by not running 12 months a year. We have 2 seasons per year with a 6 week break around the holiday's and a 3 month break over the summer. We take breaks to keep things fresh and the interest level high.

WT and AOD are super cool. Take a break, recharge, refresh, reboot, recover, and most important return.

The Tank "Game Engine" isn't finished. Not even close. Much like there are still parameters to add to the "Flight Engine" (like compressibility), the majority of Tank Parameters are not in yet. In addition to that, there are still tons of German AND Soviet tanks to add, not to mention all of US's, Great Britain's, and Japan's.

Before the start of War Thunder, I was actually on the verge of leaving AOD. Not because AOD was bad, but because I had basically gotten burned out. I spent 3-4 years in the Jedi Knight division playing a Mod called Movie Battles 2. While it is a great mod (still), I had been playing it for 3 years previous to joining AOD. I part timed in World of Tanks for a while, but quickly got fed up with the RNG. I did some Planetside 2, but that really wasn't my thing. And I had been doing Firefall since closed beta, so I started playing that again when it became a division.

But I've always loved flying games. Like I've said elsewhere, I've been doing them since I basically recoded my old Gateway computer's DOS system so that I could run Jetfighter #1. I've done most of the major combat sims, including IL2 and Aces High 1 + 2. I spent some 6 years playing Aces High.

War Thunder brought me back from the brink. It's not perfect and it's definitely not finished. But being able to lead a division in it, at the same time as working with the Flight Model Creators is awesome. I wish I could share some of the stuff being worked on. It really is amazing. In fact, I've actually been doing little testing lately because I've been playing the actual game. All work and no play make Danneskjold a dull boy.

In all my time in AOD, I've never seen an LOA denied. I think anyone will be far happier in the long run asking for an LOA if they get burned out rather than just leaving and deciding to come back later. We'll grant the LOA, as long as you ask.

For me personally, I can only jump on WT once a week due to work and family commitments. It keeps my interest fresh.
I'm also not interested in tanks and find myself flying alone a lot of the time. Even so, the fact that I still have a LOT of planes to unlock keeps me interested.

The "newness" of tank will fade. 7 guys flying Arcade, 7 flying realistic and no one doing tanks right now. Stick with us.

the spice of life is variety. sometimes you just got to try out something new. honestly the best solution would be to not put all your cards in one hat. WarThunder can get pretty repetitive after some time but thats why we got patches coming out every so often to bring something new to the table

As many of the folks said, just frak off for a while and do something else for a week or so. I have barely been in WT for last week. I don't want to get burnt out on my favorite game. Play some other games, play with your dingy and return to us.

And clearly due to this robust amount of replies -- we like you, you filthy tart.
