    Default Creative Zen

Hi Folks I have an old Creative mp3 player with around 20gb of albums on it, the trouble is the software for it was discontinued years ago, the driver and jukebox player for windows that Creative has archived wont work on windows 7/8. If I plug the Zen into my pc, it recognizes it as a creative product, but thats it, I cant browse or extract the music therin. Eventually the rechargable battery will give up (im surprised its lasted this long) and I will lose all the music to the refuse bucket :( Anybody got any ideas how I can get in there and save my music beforehand?

    Cheers!

use a drive partition tool, connect your mp3 player, then use the partition to to recover the partition on there and it will drag it all to your pc..... simples :)

If the device does not show up as a flash drive, then download and install virtual box https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads

Also get the VirtualBox Extension Pack

after that, install a copy of windows XP, and then use it with the creative software.
