Yes there is several examples of F-15 landing missing most\all of a wing.
As long as their engines still work they can lower power of one engine, increase the other and compensate
their elevators can also be used as mini ailerons to help with roll.
yes. Many people don't realize that airflow is what keeps You airborne. thrust x speed div. by mass =lift if I remember correctly. That being said You need a serious understanding of flight dynamics, hydraulic function/compensation, as well as plain ol 'Seat of the pants' ability to do this. The A-10 Warthog was designed to fly missing most of one wing and a engine. It lives in the "Weeds' and as such, is one HELL of a durable airframe. There are some reports of pilots landing in single engines w/a wing missing, but those are far/few between. Hard to keep the airspeed up w/no engine and airborne w/no lift! Check out some of the reports from WWII..Many times a bomber or attack craft brought its crew home, only to fall the fuck apart on the runway. Some cases, the airframe SHOULD not have flown. Brig.Gen Robin Olds saved His/RIO's life in a F4Phantom in 'Nam using that knowledge. His F4 was hit w/cannon fire and couldnot maintain level flight in any configuration.Bailing out over where they were meant they would be POW's in the "Hanoi Hilton' a place known for it's lack of linens and dignity. He was able to roll the aircraft to gain altitude, but missing an engine meant stalling quickly. So contacting Crown "the onstation CAC for 'nam at the time, sometimes called white crown' he was given a directional to "Feet wet' and was able for over 20min. to roll, gain alt then near stall, roll right side up...repeat. He,His RIO bailed once feet wet and were picked up by USN forces some hours later. He also brought back a P51 missing it aileron and sporting 2 large holes in the wing. It stalled at 175mph...so He landed the damn thing, using up most of a bomber length runway to do so! Never give up on a airframe..until its no longer an airframe! Happy flying, frag on!

Don't forget that with enough thrust, the main body of the airplane acts as a wing itself.
This applies to all planes. But not all planes have giant bodies and tiny wings.
That is pretty cool even for me. Someone who could care less how a plane gets me where I'm going and just does it or I will just stay on the ground.
