Here is a good guide for overclocking your CPU, it will cover the basics.

Ultimately, what it will come down to is increasing the voltage in addition to increasing the CPU multiplier. (expect to have core voltages around 1.3V to hit your max overclock)

When you start the process, expect to spend around 1-2 days overclocking if you are trying to find your max overclock.

When you start to get close to 1.3V, when doing your stress testing, keep a close eye on the temperatures during the first 10-15 minutes of the stress test.

Also make sure you have some airflow going across VRM heatsinks on the motherboard. (an otherwise stable overclock can fail if high temperatures causes the VRM protection to kick in)

Was there a link that i missed or was it what you said? I have been looking into OCing guides using google and it looks like there is a utility or something that you can see temps, voltage, etc...while on your desktop. Any idea what that is? Also is there anyway you could help me out in vent? I could really use it.

Sorry, I forgot to post the link http://www.overclock.net/t/1411077/h...ith-statistics

Just be sure to closely monitor the temperatures, and make sure that you have some airflow going across the VRM heatsinks when overclocking.

Thanks for the link. I do have airflow going over my MB's heatsinks. I have 1 120mm fan, an 80 mm fan and a 60 mm fan all blowing (sucking) into the case.
