    Default reinstalling windows

    Hey y'all I'm trying to reinstall windows. The problem is i don't have a windows disk with so i was wondering if anybody had a windows 7 pro 64 bit. I have a product key of my own just need to be able to download it from somewhere so i can format my hard drive. Thank You.

    This excerpt might be useful.

    Borrow an installation disc that matches what’s installed on your machine – right down to the Windows version and OEM manufacturer. This exact match is required to ensure that your product key will work to activate the installation. You should extract or write down the product key from your existing system prior to any reinstall. (Warning: Depending on many factors, this could actually be illegal. It seems moral to me, because you’re simply replacing or repairing a copy of Windows that you already own, but copy protection laws in certain locales often categorize this as a violation.)

    So if you have a dell, you will need a dell disk. You could try contacting the manufacture and ask if they could send you a copy.

    Download your version on windows, just make sure before oyu do so that you have your product key copied down. I just did this a week ago for my new setup. You can either put the ISO on a disc, or make a USB drive bootable and put it on there
