As title says, and if you do the steam pre-load is up the game is a whooping 33.9 GB large so you may want to start now...
And if you don't know what it is shame on you.
anyone else excited!?!

I remember looking into it a little when I saw it on Steam. Seemed like an okay game, but I wasn't too drawn into it. I don't know a whole lot about Tolkien lore, but from what I read about the game, it didn't seem like it followed it very well. Based off of what I know.
Point is, I wasn't too interested in it so I didn't bother.
Highly considering it.
I'll tell you my thoughts on it when I start playing it, the game has really good reviews too.
Joystiq -- 5/5
Polygon -- 9.5/10
IGN -- 9.3/10
The Escapist -- 4.5/5
GameSpot -- 8/10
GamesRadar - 9/10
Game Informer - 8.25/10
GamesBeat - 80/100
Eurogamer - 8/10
MMORPG.com - 8.2/10
Shacknews - 9/10
I don't trust reviews at all. Ratings are generally completely useless considering the numbers are completely subjective. Some of my favorite games have been 6//10 or 7/10, and some of the biggest pieces of crap ever created (in my opinion anyway) have been 10/10. Best way to see if you like a game is to demo it. Next best thing is to watch playthroughs on YouTube. After that I normally see what other gamers thought and why. The why being the important part. Buying a game from a developer that hasn't screwed you in the past also helps. All that is ignoring that whole corruption in video gaming "journalism" fiasco.
Anyway, will definitely check out Shadow of Mordor. Have always been interested in Tolkien.
wont have the code to dl till release day i belive
I dont get a midnight release, so I wont be on till like 7pm PST tomorrow. I look forward to Assassin's Creed Middle Earth. :)
-DraigUKKill the meat, save the metal
I wont be able to play it much as Tuesdays are one of my busiest days of the week
Game is fetching awesome! The mechanics are great and the ability to avenge friends who fall is awesome! I have not played very much of it as of yet (Put in a couple of hours) and I must say this game is a blast.

I planned to keep an eye on the game for a bit, then maybe decide to get it in the future if the price may go down later. Although, now with that trailer you have up there, it makes me consider it as a game to get once I get a better computer. It looks great, and it's always nice to have new ideas that others haven't done before.
