PlanetSide 2 Division sets a Guinness World Record!

On January 24th, 2015, Planetside 2's community set out to beat the world record for most players participating in a first-person shooter at one time;
And they got it.

1,158 players in one battle.

The world record attempt was organized through PlanetSide Battles, a player-driven organization which focuses on creating fun and interesting events for the PlanetSide 2 community. This world record attempt, dubbed RecordSmash, had each faction from across all five PlanetSide servers join together to fight. AOD Cintesis played a critical role in the formation of the TR forces from Emerald, the USE Server. Together, AOD Cintesis and AOD TripFour lead the two platoons of Emerald TR into battle, comprising of a little more than a quarter of the TR force! Together, Emerald TR lead the event in kills, and held the entire northern front of the continent against the NC. The voratious defense was duly noted.
