Knee High to a Worms Ass
PVP, RBG strats, fun Ideas
First of all I would like to say good job last night in RBG's, we won 2 out of 3 games, even with a few pugs and one or two of our guys disconnecting a few times in AB.
Ok let me say that none of my strategies are meant to be followed rigidly, PVP is all about adapting to the situation and playing to the strengths of your comp. This is a strategy I have been playing with since we have been having problems getting the orbs fast enough on Temple of Kotmogu. Now this first diagram is the starting position, from here we feel out their strength and strat from a strong defensive position. Let me begin by breaking down the positioning, The ranged on either side are responsible for picking up their respective sides enemy orb if/when it drops as well and dpsing the center from the top. The two healers in the back up top should stay by the corner pillars encase they need to break LOS, this also puts them in position to pick up the orbs if need be though their main job will be healing our orb carriers in the back. The third healer that is in the center will focus on keeping the melee up and when we move forward will dispel/purge enemy Oc. The melee in the center will help keep people off the orbs when possible with CC/kill but focus kill will be any healer with them until we move forward. Now if you have a third ranged he will be in the back center up top helping defend healers and Ocís, he will also go pick up a back orb if one of ours dies, if both die he can get one and the healer closest can get the other one. If there are only two ranged the healers may have to pick them both up because the extra melee will just be in the middle with the rest. Now after you rez when you die you are automatically on orb duty, no matter what your role this means if see an orb up or hear one is about to drop you head there and get that shit. The reason for this is because you will be mounted and can there for get their quicker than anyone already in combat. If nothing is up or going down soon you go back to your spot. Now if they charge us from this starting position we try and CC as my of the dps going for our orbs unless their orbs follow them over to our side than the CC will instead be directed at the healers while we burn then Orbs. Kill order is Enemy Orb > Healer > DPS. If they stay on their side and wait for us or once will kill their first charge group we switch to the second diagram. Now this one is similar to the first only everyone is moving up with the ranged closer to their orbs and the healers closer to the stairs, all the same responsibilities apply as before only this is an offensive position meaning we are going for their orbs. Now I want to clarify that these assignments arenít ridged, you can do more base on your own skill level and any openings you see. Fair warning though, if you try to be a hero and fail thereby causing us to fail we will rip on you mercilessly ;) Communication is key people, donít flood the line but donít be afraid to call out things. Again, all of this can and will change on the fly and comps and skill levels very, stay flexible and listen for directions.

I also thought it would be funny to get a group of people together that have the Stormwind guard transmog from the Dwarven Bunker and raid some of the horde cities/ zones. I am working on my set now if anyone else wants to join in start working on your set :)
Boycott shampoo! Demand the REAL poo!
One thing I know about Temple is that absolutely everyone should be getting orbs. Having designated orb grabbers can get real funky sometimes. The key is just having as many people as possible grabbing them. Obviously healers should be last but you get points no matter where you are on the map so making it back to the center shouldn't be priority it should be keeping the orbs at all times.
transition is definitely the key to that map though. If you feel an orb is going down whether it be your own or the EOC, a couple people should transition in that direction. Its a tough bg because a couple timely deaths combined with shitty res locations can really sway the balance.
Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue
That is a very interesting read Karma....Im intrigued by those strats.
