    Pimp 2vs2 Tournament

After a very long dueling with my wingman Spanakis we finally reached top 15 in the tournament with me at 17 place and spanakis at 15.
We 've dropped 2 times at 150 place but we fought our way back. Now the question is, shall we continue push up with the risk of dropping even more if we lose or go on
no matter what??? Every opinion is welcome!

Nice work guys, I tried my best but could not be consistent ;( was getting nervous when everybody with Yaks would fly the same way. Anyway last time I checked you guys are still in the top 40 ;)

Really Great work guys! Also tried to reach top 102, Got to 140 thanks to SkySamurai and CptSkeletor, but dropped after that. Than I heard you have to be in the best 102 when the tournament ends. Well I stopped after that because i dont have more time :(

But If you do got alot of time on hand, try to push up further. You guys are really good. I think your can reach top 10 even top 5!

    What planes/strategy were you using?

I used the I-16 type 24.. from rank 200 it almost has no use anymore :(

    Good luck..

P.s. even if you dont push further... This is a great archievement!
Kinda jealous, can and will learn more from you!

Thnx MaNii! We tried many combinations with planes, yak+p39, yak+Ishak, Ishak+p39 and finaly settled to Yak+Yak. The first thing is to know your strong points for both player
and plane as well. One of our strong points is head ons so we took our distance ultil the clock goes down and went for head ons.
One of our successful strategies was the "Looping Train". One guy starts climbing a bit and the other stays bellow but still close to each other. We rush to the enemys so they won't be able to shoot us head on coz of the countdown and then the lower guy takes a sharp turn to jump on the tail from the guy that just passed first and he is going for his wingman, and my wingman loops and takes place on the enemys tail that is behind me. If you synch it good you'll have your crosshair at the enemys tail and you wait for 3,2,1....

If the enemy is an Ishak be sure that he is not going to come head on and he is going to brake with a barrel roll and try to outurn you and come in your tail in no time. The solution to avoid this is to take your shots from a distance just before he brakes and then make a dive to gather energy and speed so you can distance yourself. He won't be able to catch you Ishaks are very slow. After that boom and zoom with lots of energy and speed until you get him. Hope I helped a bit.

P.S. This strategy worked on FuFu clan guys (No1 clan in warthunder)

Our last battles showed that we could easily be at the top 10 but we needed more time that unfortunatelly we don't have.
We fought against all the top 10 guys and showed them that AOD has nothing to fear from the first Squadrons like FuFu,BrAv0,=GRAND=
and actually shot them down quite a bit, especially FuFu guys. I just wish we could have more time to battle for top 5 but my original unit Commander
would be angry if I don't show up on time for work tomorrow. So our last achievement is 12 and 13 place.
It was an honor to be your wingman Spanakis, looking forward for the next tournament.

It was a very good experience and we had a lot of fun, learned alot about 2vs2 duels along with tactics, tricks and the importance of the communication with your wingman.

P.S. The only thing that angers me is that the guys we shot down easily now are in top 10 coz they continue to play....
