New PC Day
Hey all! Finally got back onto the forum after a few wrong password attempts lol!
Anyway, I finally decided to upgrade my AIO PC after a long time and thought id post the specs. I have already added an extra fan to improve cooling as I am pretty cautious.
Any advice on future upgrades to it would be great! Think I will upgrade from my 1080p to 1440 firstly.
Case: Corsair Carbide 175R RGB
I7-10700 2.9 GHz / 4.8 GHz
Zotac gaming RTX 3070
Corsair cm4x 16gb x2 8gb at 2400mhz
Asus B460-plus
Corsair CV 550w
2tb Seagate Barracuda
500gb ssd
Attachment 42126

Yes, get a nice 165Hz+ 1440 monitor with good research rate. The 3070 can handle it no problem.

Glad to hear it would handle it, I am definitely aiming for one next! I have added my old Seagate 2tb HDD to the pc to transfer my files but think I will just keep it in there for extra storage. Also added two more case fans to improve airflow.

Just got 1440p IPS @ 165Hz G-Sync (up from 1080p TN @ 240Hz). Amazing! Such a relief for these old eyes.

WHERE DID YOU GET THE GPU THO :hail:

Defo going to go for a 1440p Monitor Sunwheel! I am used to 1080p 60hz so will be an amazing upgrade!
It was a pre-built mike so I got pretty lucky!

Congrats on the new PC!!! Let us know how it runs :)

Its a great time to be in the monitor market. A lot of great offerings came out over the last year and a few others should be available before 2021 is over.

Very nice on the build! How did you manage to snag a 3070? They are quite the unicorn lol. I wanted to get the 3070 when they were released but I knew I would never be able to beat the bots.
