AOD Reaper Squad and Emerald Defeat Cobalt in Server Smash 61
The Planetside 2 Reaper competitive squad participated in Server Smash 61. The Emerald Server vs Cobalt Server was 216 vs 216 and included 111 outfits across both servers. The Reaper Squad represented Angels of Death and placed 7th in overall kills during the match. The Reaper Squad consisted of 12 of the divisions best shooters and was in Mobile Platoon 2. Their mission was to respond quickly to orders and reinforce static forces. I would like to congratulate the Reaper Squad members that participated on their great comms discipline and responsiveness.
The match was a nail biter with the end result after an hour and a half territory control match resulted in Emerald, who was playing the Terran Republic, with 50 percent continent control with Cobalt, who was playing the Vanu Sovereignty, at 49. Some highlights include the capture of Moss Ridge and saving Ixtab Power Regulation with less than 1 second left on the cap. The entire match can be viewed here.
