Went in to the Emergency Room last Sunday with abdominal pain.
Diagnosed a Pancreatitus brought on by Diabetes (I didn't know I had diabetes).
Took care of the Pancreus and now I have to learn how to get the Diabetes under control.
Diabetes? wow man wish you best of luck taking care of that!
damn man, I'm glad to hear you're doing well.. good luck in the future with everything though man, just take it a day at a time and do what tha doc tells you the best u can. don't worry to much man, you'll get it under control. :cool:Quote:

arright Celtic.I was diag'd w/Diabetes a few yrs ago. A lot of it had to do with weight. Always been a big boy,no matter what. When I held the World record for Continental United States speed crossing on a bicycle *12-18yr old category* I was only 5'7 and weighed 195! As I got older,more sedentary,it cropped up. Big things to watch?Sugar..*duh* and HIDDEN Sugar! You'll learn to read labels before consuming ANYTHING. Another thing is exercise. Doesn't mean Ya gotta go run a marathon or life a lorry. Just do more than You have been. Hell,a simple walk around the block for one who doesn't walk much is exercise!
After 2 yrs, I was declared "diabetes free' and I still test regularly *2-3x a week* to make sure. TEST,TEST,TEST....get to know "your numbers' and you'll find it helps a great deal. If you need anything,just ask Man.Glad You're home/better.NaMaste
